(Source: http://tabletzona.es/2016/07/08/file-expert-una-buena-opcion-dentro-los-gestores-archivos/)

File Expert 1

App Review: All In One Worthy File Manager!

(Source: https://www.tekhdecoded.com/2016/07/03/app-review-file-expert-file-manager/)

File Manager :

Hey guys,

This week I am back with a review for file manager app. It is named File Expert – File Manager.

It is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xcxin.filexpert&hl=en

As we all know, there is a lot of different File Manager apps on the Google Play store and it is pretty hard to differentiate when making this kind of app. Did this app solve that challenge? Is it a good app or not? We will analyze the features and UI and give the first even Jon’s Grade. Let’s do this!

File Expert 1

The first thing you will notice after installing this app, is that it explains the permissions it will need before it asks you for them. That is one thing that I hve never seen before and I truly appreciated.

Next, if you go through the side menu (which you can access by swiping from the left side of the phone, you will see a pretty standard menu when it comes to file managers. The app comes with the options of which storage to go to. Internal storage was named SD Card which is remeniscent of the old Android OS. I personally did not like it. When you put in a SD card, you have 2 SD cards in there. Contrary to the other File Manager I use that just labels it Internal Storage.

Next you have network options which later also became pretty standard. Advanced features provided Recently Opened and Tags which were different to what I’m used to and very nice to have. The Recycle Bin is standard too but it’s such an important feature to me by now. Having the ability to delete something and recover it for the Recycle Bin is amazing. It’s hardly new since it’s the same as any computers, but the early file managers on Android didn’t have that and you had to delete stuff permanently.

File Expert 2

Next, you can find your files by Gallery, Music, Video, Apps, Compressed and Documents. Convenient. They also have tools. While I’ve seen the Downloader and FTP Server before, the Safebox is somwhat new to me. So I went in and decided to try it out. They let me set a pattern password and asked for an email in case I forgot the pattern. Then, when I went to copy/paste a file to test it, I was prompted to pay for a premium account to use the feature. I am sure it is worth the money, but I am only reviewing the free app here so we will have to pass. I do have to say, I find it very expensive for the few features a premium account gives me. I have these features for free with other apps.

All in all, the app performs well and the huge plus is the material design. WOW. It is a very beautiful app to work with when it comes to UI and navigation. It is simple and performs normal file manager tasks very easily.

File Expert 3

This is my first app review on TekhDecoded and I have decided to give apps I review a Jon’s Grade. It will be on a scale of 1 to 10 and will take into account several things like features, UI, usability and cost of premium features.

So this app receives a Jon’s Grade of 7/10. The overall package is amazing looking and easy to use. It only loses points when it comes to what is considered premium features and the price for those.

If you are in the lookout for a File Manager, I would recommend this with no problem.

Their paid features have 30 days free trial period, you can buy them and cancel within 30 days. Do try them if you want a clean experience of yourself to love this app!

Let me know in the comments below if you agree or not!

App Review: File Expert is a feature-filled file manager with Material Design, tabbed browsing, dark mode, and more

File management is a necessity for many Android users, but few manufacturers provide a fully-featured app to do so. If you want to be able to tap into all that is possible with your file system, you will need a third party option like File Expert.

Why File Expert? Well, it has just about every feature in the book and it all comes in a beautiful, Material Design interface. Let’s start with some of the file management features that savvy users are looking for:

*File tagging
*Recycle bin to undo accidental deletions
*Safebox – require a password to access selected files
*App Lock – require a password to access File Expert
*File Shred – securely delete files so they cannot be recovered later
*Convert Microsoft Office files to PDF
*FTP access
*Cloud storage integration (Dropbox, Google, OneDrive, and more)
*Wireless printing
*File compression and decompression (ZIP, RAR, 7z)
*Built-in plain text editor
*Chromecast support
*Advanced download manager

There is much more to File Expert than could be fit into a single post and the above list is far from exhaustive. For an example of the type of goodies you’ll find in File Expert, let’s check out a recently added feature: offline downloads.

When you choose to download a file from your browser and you select “FE Super Downloader” as your preferred app (this is File Expert), you will then get a prompt like below:

File Expert AndroidPolice 2

To perform an offline download, you just choose “Download to GCloud.” GCloud is the cloud storage service provided by GMobile, File Expert’s developer. Once you have internet connectivity, the download task will be shared with GMobile, who will download it to their cloud servers. Once complete, the file(s) will be synced to your device via File Expert.

The Super Downloader also works for other situations, like when you simply want to have a quicker download speed or need the ability to pause an in-progress download.

Along with File Expert’s numerous power user features, it all comes in an easy-to-use package. The interface alone is loaded with the kinds of details smart users want:

*Material Design
*Tabbed browsing
*Light and dark themes
*Sort files by size, type, date, and more
*Thumbnail preview or list view
*Search ability
*Slide-in menu for easy access to frequently-used features
*Batch select files
*App icons are shown with their associated folders for easier browsing
*Horizontal mode for better tablet support

Below is a quick look at how you can change between light and dark themes, as well as a glimpse of each one.

Tabbed browsing is a very versatile part of the interface, which can intelligently help you navigate between related areas in addition to your ability to simply add your own tabs like you would in a browser.

File Expert AndroidPolice 4

File Expert is on its 8th version now and has been used for quite a long time. But the latest version’s interface, featuring a Material makeover, even more firmly sets it apart from many other options.

What cannot quite be conveyed without simply using File Expert is how speedy all of its operations are. GMobile has done a lot of behind the scenes work to make everything from search to file copying very quick.

While some of the features mentioned require a subscription, File Expert is very useful even in its free version. Even better, the subscription model used by File Expert means you don’t have to commit long-term to see which features you will need.

To learn more, you can visit File Expert’s official site or head to the Play Store to download right away.
